The chorus focuses on improving singing techniques and making chords "ring" while at the same time simply having fun. We love it when a 4 part chord is correctly tuned and the chord just locks together and harmonics (or overtones) ring out loud and strong.
We compete every year in local contest as a mean of measuring our progress against similar groups but we just love to perform for the public and so our contest activities are very well balanced with public performance. We also have a great time together as one of our goals is to provide a place where men can gather and enjoy their interest in singing.
The Harbour Capital Chorus was formed in Wellington on February 4th, 1988 following pioneering work by the “Co-ordinated Chemists” Quartet for several years prior to that. The Harbour Capital Chorus has since ... less

The TCS Children’s Choir mission is to encourage and enrich the musical interests of children in Toronto’s east end by providing a community Choir experience in which they can learn, perform, and develop a life-long appreciation for singing.
The Choir provides a supportive environment in which singers can develop their musical abilities by learning and performing choral classics, music from a variety of cultures, and music that celebrates the heritage of the City of Toronto. less

Coastal Sound Children’s Choir aims to inspire each young singer to be their best–as musicians and as contributing engaged citizens–through choral singing.
Under the direction of Diana Clark since 2009, Children’s Choir consists of caring young musicians from diverse cultural heritages, ages 9-15 years old. Storytelling, joy of singing, connection and flexibility of performance are the core values of this group. The Choir also loves to work with guest conductors and share with other Choirs. They have recently been guest singers with Vancouver Chamber Choir.
Since 1989, when Donna Otto founded the group, Coastal Sound Children’s Choir has performed at important cultural events in Greater Vancouver and Whistler, has toured extensively throughout the world, and has co-hosted the Coastal Sound International Choral Festival.
