Girls from 14-24 with exceptional voices from the Southern Gauteng region are welcome to audition and join the choir.

The Spinnakerettes reach a new high in 2014. Presenting their best performance to date: The Girls were very happy to come home to Portsmouth with a 5th place medal. Hooray!!!

The singing Girls had alot of fun performing to a massive audience at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton when UK Olympic medallist Diver Pete Waterfield made a special appearance. Lots of Laughs from the audience, and much amusement in the Chorus!

From its beginning it has been affiliated with ZAMEK Culture Centre. Experienced and respected pedagogues-musicians look after the musical development of the Girls and artistic program. The Choir is conducted and creatively inspired by its Artistic Director and Conductor Alicja Szeluga, an educator and choral music aficionado. The Vocal Coach Marzena Michałowska, and accompanying pianist Czesław Łynsza, as well as percussionist Beata Polak complete the musical team. The SKOWRONKI Girls Choir also has programs for younger groups. The Ensemble is consists of 140 Girls aged between 6 and 22.
