The choir has gained international renown for gorgeous resonant tone, impeccable technique and for the artistry and sincerity of performance.
Tours have included Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Wales, England and Italy, in addition to touring extensively in the USA and Canada. The Choir has performed at ACDA and ACCC numerous times and is a four time winner of the CBC National Radio Competition for Amateur choirs.

Elaine Quilichini a fondé le Calgary Girls Choir en 1995, et c'est grâce à l'inspiration et à la direction de sa fondatrice que le Calgary Girls Choir a pris son essor. Cette chorale a développé une renommée internationale grâce à une sonorité et une résonance de toute beauté, à une technique impeccable et à des interprétations remplies de sincérité et de talent artistique.
Le Calgary Girls Choir a été en tournée en Autriche, en Hongrie, en République Tchèque, en Slovaquie, au Pays de Galles, en Angleterre et en Italie; ceci s'ajoute à de nombreuses tournées effectuées aux Etats-Unis et au Canada. La chorale a chanté pour l’ ACDA et l’ACCC à de nombreuses occasions et a gagné quatre fois le concours national de CBC pour chœurs amateurs. less
