The choir is an integral part of the Sunday worship service. The soulful reckoning that they are singing for their Lord and Saviour is what drives the choir in spite of the hectic schedules of its members. The choir has a good mix of youth and experienced members ranging from an age of 14 years and above. Yeah, we don’t have an age limit! The East Parade Malayalam choir is recognized as one of the best church choirs in the Garden city and has been invited to perform in various concerts organised by other churches, institutions and groups. Newly formed in 2022, the group is currently comprised of a mixed choir, a men's choir, and a women's choir. The mixed choir meets at the Manchester Rugby Club, and the men's and women's choirs meet at the Wilmslow Rugby Club. The repertoire consists of a little bit of everything - madrigals, movies, musicals, spirituals, shanties, serious songs, silly songs - everything. All singers are welcome, and there is no audition required. We sing as a team, one step at a time.  less

The group's normal size is...  moreExultate (Egg-sul-TAH-teh) is a chamber choir and orchestra, based in the Twin Cities, MN, founded in 1996 by Dr. Thomas D. Rossin, conductor. Exultate is the Twin Cities' only professional choir with a self-contained orchestra. The group's normal size is about 45 singers and 22 instrumentalists. Once a year Exultate expands its ranks to become a larger-than-chamber festival choir and orchestra, performing and recording such major works for voices and instruments as A German Requiem by Brahms (sung in English), The Seven Last Words of Christ by Théodore Dubois (also in English), Mozart's Grand Mass in C Minor, Francis Poulenc's Gloria, the Mass in B Minor by Johann Sebastian Bach and the Requiems of Gabriel Fauré and John Rutter. Exultate has produced nineteen recordings so far - seven are Christmas albums with unique Christmas carol arrangements, many written especially for Exultate. We are a women's non auditioned choir. We sing across a wide range of genres from light classical through to pop and rock. We sing in 3-4 parts, and while working hard on our developing sound, we like to have fun!
