In May, The choir travelled to Italy to take part in The “Venezia in MUsica” International Choral Competition. They won first prize in The secular mUsic category, came runners up in The sacred mUsic category, and received The “Outstanding Performance” prize for Bogorditsye Dyevo by Rachmaninov. Since 2008 we have been Coming togeTher in central London to learn and perform sea-shanties, murder ballads, protest songs, work songs, love melodies, folkified non-folksongs, and good old knees-up tunes, from across The centuries and all over The world.
