In 1988, when Budapest International Choir Festival & Competition was founded, a milestone was set in the history of choral competitions. In 2025 we will already celebrate the 19th anniversary of this festival in Budapest.
Be participants in one of Central Europe’s most illustrious cultural center during the
19th Budapest International Choir Festival & Competition in April 13-17, 2025.
meeting music invites singers to join this celebration of choral music in the prestigious concert halls of historical Budapest.
Every choir can apply in different categories which suits them perfectly like Female, Male Mixed Choir with or without requirements, Chamber Choirs with requirements, Children and Youth Choirs, Musica Sacra, Folklore, Gospel/Pop/Modern or Jazz.
We proudly use Evaluation System, originated by Artistic Director Gábor Hollerung.
We look forward to providing excellent hospitality and meeting you in person. Take advantage of educational offers such as Evaluation Performance, Individual Coaching, meeting in music Concerts, Conductors meeting with the Jury, and other festival activities.
