The choir was initially created to unite students with a shared interest in praising the Lord through song. Over the years, the choir has grown to include members of all races and Christian denominations, and celebrates not only the diversity of its members, but also that of its audiences.
UTGC has burst onto the international scene, while continuing to serve the greater Toronto community in local concerts and university events held throughout the year, like their community Christmas concert, and May's Gospelfest. In the past, the choir has also participated in the annual "The Colours of Christmas" concert as the guest of top international recording artists, such as Peabo Bryson, Roberta Flack, and Jon Secada, just to na... less
