The group is one of Madagascar’s top choirs and aims for musical excellence and artistic innovation. Various performances have been given since its debut in major places around the country. ICanto’s repertoire is eighty percent a capella and the choir interpretes all genres of Classical Music, from ancient to modern as well as rearranged traditional Malagasy music. The choir is conducted by Fitah Rasendrahasina.

We’ve raised thousands for various charities through our concerts and perform regularly in events such as festivals, open days, fairs and more. We enjoy ‘giving back’ to our community so if you do too, we’ll make a great fit! No auditions - Everyone is welcome – teenagers and adults. No previous experience required! Learn how to use your voice, sing in parts, read music, and discover great songs in a fun and supportive environment. The group sings in Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino and English, and has an informal concert/sing-along each term. We also do small performances for charity.
