Rehearsing at Akcan Akademi under conductor Özgen Öz, the choir is an active member of Koro Kültürü Derneği (the Choral Culture Association).
Since its founding, FeminAnka has been invited to numerous festivals and has been honoured with several awards. Having shared the stage with Türkiye’s leading choirs, the choir continues to strengthen the place of the female voice in polyphonic music — with a repertoire spanning polyphonic arrangements of folk songs, contemporary works, sacred music and pop.
We keep working with the same enthusiasm as on day one, driven by the wish to resonate alongside musicians devoted to polyphonic music in different countries, cities and concert halls. less
