This 65 to 70 member, mixed-voice ensemble sings for services in Christ Chapel, for Christmas in Christ Chapel, an annual spring tour, and at special College events. Major city tour destinations have included San Antonio, St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Milwaukee, Lincoln, and Omaha. Membership is by audition. Conducted by Bradon Dean.

We rehearse on Thursday nights at St Pauls Church Hall, Locarno Road (off Torquay Road), Preston, Paignton starting at 7.30pm until 9.30pm. Over the years the choir has sung with many leading amateur and professional orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic and Bournemouth Symphony orchestras, the Bristol Symphony, the Bands of HM Grenadier Guards, Household Cavalry and Royal Marine Commandos, Lympstone. Nearly all the historical oratorios, cantatas and choral works have been performed at concerts as well as 20th century compositions. The choir has visited France four times including the Quimper Music Festival, has hosted choirs from Holland, France and the USA and created links with societies in Cornwall, Devon, Gloucestershire and North Yorkshire. The choir has actively encouraged local school choirs to participate in works which include parts written specially for young people.  less

They have recently been guest singers with Vancouver Chamber choir. Founded in 1934, the Victoria Choral Society has played a leading role in Victoria's cultural life, and has performed with every Victoria Symphony conductor since the Symphony’s inception. The choir was created after 200 singers, representing most of the church choirs of the day in Victoria, assembled in 1934 to sing Messiah. They agreed to continue singing together to promote choral music, and the Victoria Choral Society, at that time called the Victoria Choral Union, was formed. The instrumentalists who played with the choir later formed the Victoria Symphony. The Larkin Singers has had successful tours to Bristol, UK as resident choir at Bristol Cathedral and to New York City. They have also presented concerts in Ottawa, London and Kingston. Since its founding, FeminAnka has been invited to numerous festivals and has been honoured with several awards. Having shared the stage with Türkiye’s leading choirs, the choir continues to strengthen the place of the female voice in polyphonic music — with a repertoire spanning polyphonic arrangements of folk songs, contemporary works, sacred music and pop.
