Its repertoire includes Choral music from the Middle Ages to the 21st century, works by contemporary Greek composers, traditional songs, spirituals, etc. It has given numerous Concerts in Greece, Germany, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Norway, Switzerland, Hungary, Cyprus, Turkey, and Serbia. Since 2023, the choir has been organizing annually the “Arta Sacred Music Festival” which takes places in Byzantine churches of Arta. Since November 2021, the choir has been conducted by Antonis Ververis. less

KCC performs a vast se... moreKaohsiung Chamber Choir (KCC) is one of the most prosperous ensembles in southern Taiwan. Founded by a group of Choral music lovers in 2002, KCC has leaded the Choral music community to an unceasingly advancement in southern Taiwan. KCC performs a vast selection of local and international repertoires, female or male Choral work, a cappella pieces, contemporary chamber choir music, and newly commissioned compositions in its semi annual Concerts and other occasions. KCC’s active presence on stages has brought several acclaimed rewards from private and public offices.
Under the leadership of the current Artistic Director, Dr. Chia-fen Weng, KCC launched the Elite Workshop to further expand the choir’s caliber in 2007. This program recruited a few young talented singers to act as voice teachers in the choir, such as Hua-chen Liang, Je-jium Chan and Ying-jen Yao, and offers music theory, body movement and dancing lessons to its members as part of this Elite Workshop program.
