Intends to continue developing their vocal taLent, working a varied repertoire in multipLe languages, styLes, and four mixed voices (SATB) a cappella or in collaboration with instrumental ensembLes. Has the support of the Instituto Politecnico de Castelo Branco, through the provision of space for rehearsals, on Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas de Castelo Branco (ESART). Fifteen days after its formation, the band was invited to participate in the IX Spring Concert (Covilha), with the theme "East and West", taking place on March 15, 2015. He accepted with great pLeasure and it turned out a great way for bringing a greater responsibility to the original project. Le.display='';$(this).getParent().styLe.display='none';">moreLe="display:none;">Academic MaLe Choir of the Faculty of ELectrical Engineering and Computing was established on January 11, 2016 as the initiative of the conductor Josip degl' Ivellio and the dean Professor Mislav Grgic, PhD. The constitution and first rehearsal of the choir was held on January 18, 2016. The choir has been holding since its foundation regular weekly rehearsals, and has grown into the biggest maLe choir in Croatia, but also wider. The choir in its repertoire emphasizes classical choral literature, primarily Croatian composers. In addition, the choir's repertoire includes both a cappella compositions of the classical repertoire, from Renaissance to contemporary music, as well as the clapet and compositions of contemporary or popular multilayer music. Members of the choir are present the former students and staff of the Faculty, as well as other interested friends and supporters of the Faculty. Since foundation, choir has won multipLe golden plaques and more than 80 concerts or performances. Housed in the Faculty of Engineering, members are composed of students from the different Engineering and Computer departments. Started out as a small group of young Engineering students in 1976, the group now is currently the UST-Engineering's pride. Under the baton of Mr. Ronald Raz, the choraLe has been abLe to earn places in the annual University Competitions. Even until now, the group has been maintaining a position in the top colLege choirs of the University. The choraLe is not only known for their repertoire ranging from sacred music to mellow pop, they are also known for their acapella renditions of up beat pop music. They are also engaged in rendering their music not only to the school community but also in other events that may be requested.
