It is located in Ghana, West Africa in a town called Ahinsan in the City of Kumasi. M.I.C performs many kinds of Music genre such as Hymns, Choral Anthems, Classical Music and contemporary Music. M.I.C has its mid-year annual choral program dubbed Marvelous Praise which features lots of Choirs to perform with them on many kinds of Music genre. M.i.C also has its end of year Music program dubbed Vespira which is entirely Music and prayers featuring other Choirs as well. M.i.C has performed at over 500 functions in Ghana since its existence. M.I.C performs at functions such as Choral Festivals, Church services, Weddings, and other Music functions. Domenico Savio" was born in 1999 with the desire to build through Music, experience of collaboration and sharing. Over the years the interest in polyphony, the study of the repertoire and the vocal approach has grown. The group has joined the A.R.S. cori (Regional Association of Choirs of Sicily) and consequently to FENIARCO (National Association of Choirs) with the involvement in all the regional and national demonstrations promoted by the aforementioned organism: exhibitions, concerts and gatherings for Choirs. The Revelations won two Gold and one Silver medal at the World Choir games in Austria (2008) singing choral a-cappella style Music in the Gospel, Pop, and Male voice vocal ensemble categories. They were also declared world Champions in two of the categories after achieving the highest number of points in these two categories.  Our repertoire consists mainly of folk, Gospel, pop and freedom songs all sung in glorious 4 part harmony and mostly in a capella style. All Choir members have online access to MP3 recordings of their parts so they can practise anytime.

We love welcoming new people so it would be great to have you along. There is no audition and everyone is welcome to come and check us out for a night before they join.  less

The second performance of the newly commissioned "City Songs" by Latvian composer Eriks Esenvalds, Australian poet Emma Jones and narrator Imogen Heap. The work was commissioned by the Voices Now Festival and first performed in the Roundhouse, London, June 2013. The second performance took place on Friday 25th October 2013 in St. Columb's Hall, Derry as part of the inaugural choral Festival. This second performance featured the Holst Singers and Roundhouse Choir from London, Codetta, Encore Contemporary Choir, Colmcille Ladies and the Music Promise Junior Choir from Derry and the Orchestra of Ireland, conducted by Stephen Layton.  less
