The choir performs ordinarily music during Catholic Mass and other forms of choir services in churches and events. The formation of this Catholic youth has agreed to give contribution to the church and the country as young generation through music. In 2014, Manado Catholic choir had established its junior member, named Manado Catholic Youth choir (MCYC). The band sings mainly sacral, including orthodox music, but also contemporary and folk. The choir has rich concert activity in the country and abroad and with great success has participated in many choral contests and festivals. The ensemble performed hundreds of concerts and presented its skills at competitions and festivals in Germany, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary and many others. The choir has recorded a few CDs: "Bogoroditse Devo, Raduisya" from 2008, "Musica Sacra" from 2013, "Canticum Canticorum" from 2017. During this time they have developed a reputation for their commitment to the highest level of musicality. Comprising some of the finest young singers in the country, members of the choir are all alumni of the Eton Choral Courses. Conducted by their founder Ralph Allwood, the sound of the choir is a reflection of their profound sensitivity to text, blend and phrasing. They use imaginative programming, and have become known for their innovative and exciting performances and their extensive array of recordings. The most recent addition to this catalogue will be released in November 2013, and features works by Paul Mealor and Benjamin Britten.
