Palestrina, Bach, Victoria, Britten, Howells, RVW, Elgar, Poulenc etc, Need enthusiasm, music reading and some sight singing, or a good ear and quick learning. We dont audition, but invite you to try us and we to try you for a couple of sessions and see. Perform about 2 or 3 times a year.

However, The existence of a primary form of The Choir conducted by Agesilaos Papantoniou and Then Ioannis Kottoros in succession is traced in 1930s. Since its foundation The Choir has had an exclusive and leading position in The parish ecclesiastical music, and, like Saint Alexander’s Church, follows The eastern orthodox doctrine and comes under The Holy Metropolis of Nea Smyrni. Both The Choir and The former conductor Ioannis Kottoros have been awarded several times; recently, in 2005, They were honoured with The golden Cross of Apostle Paul by His Beatitude The late Archbishop of AThens and all Greece, Christodoulos. It commits to significantly contribute to The nurturance of The country’s choral tradition. Its vision is to become The country's premiere all-male chorale, exemplifying The best of The Filipino: excellence, discipline and a flair for entertainment. Inspired by The global spirit and nationalistic dedication of The great ilustrado men during Spanish colonial times, The choir is slowly building a repertoire that includes The best of local and global all-male choral music. A member of The Madz et al network of choirs, it is composed of men who had extensive choral singing backgrounds through Their college, church and community/parish choir experiences. They were under The tu...  moreEast Rand Male Symphony was established in August 1990 by The members of The Then Kenneth Masekela SSS Boys Choir after winning The TUATA National School Choir Competition in The category of Boys Choirs for The 4th successive year. They were under The tutelage of Mojalefa Motloung. The choir is made up of members from The East Rand which is now affectionately known as Ekurhuleni. The young men who established The choir in 1990 are now responsible men taking Their place in Their communities. We currently have over 35 members of which ages range from 20 to 50. We are still under The baton of Mojalefa Motloung who also forms part of our Conductors Forum.  less

Under The leadership of Meng-Hsien Peng as conductor and artistic director since 2013, The choir has achieved prestige as one of The country’s foremost choral groups. Throughout its seventeen years of existence, The Müller Chamber Choir has time and time again participated in international choral events to expand its artistic vision.
