Integrates more than twenty young people between fourteen and eighteen years of age who have, in Music, a common denominator. Intends to continue developing their vocal talent, working a varied repertoire in multiple languages, styles, and four mixed voices (SATB) a cappella or in collaboration with instrumental ensembles. Has the support of the Instituto Politecnico de Castelo Branco, through the provIsion of space for rehearsals, on Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas de Castelo Branco (ESART). Fifteen days after its formation, the band was invited to participate in the IX Spring Concert (Covilha), with the theme "East and West", taking place on March 15, 2015. From its first steps it attracted attention to the musical community and it also achieved a significant success. Since 2000, the choir led by honored artIst of Belarus Natalia Mihailova. Sacred music and jazz, classical and modern music organically and naturally coexIst in the repertoire of the choir. The creative possibilities of the collective, consIsting of 30 professional musicians, are inexhaustible. They constantly work on new programs of Russian works (D. Bortniansky, P. Tchaikovsky, S. The name of the ensemble originates from Thalitas, an ancient cretan composer and legIslator, after whom a street in Heraklion Is named; in thIs street the first rehearsals of the ensemble took place. The ensemble's primary goal was to acquaint its members with the a cappella (“in the chapel”, without church organ accompaniment) vocal music of the renaIssance period. THALITAS began by studying and performing works of renowned composers of that era (e.g. Josquin des Prez, G.
