Since 2000, the choir led by honored artist of Belarus Natalia Mihailova.
Sacred music and jazz, classical and modern music organically and naturally coexist in the repertoire of the choir. The creative possibilities of the collective, consisting of 30 professional musicians, are inexhaustible. They constantly work on new programs of Russian works (D. Bortniansky, P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninov, G.Sviridov) and Western classics (I.S.Bach, G.Gendel, D.Bukstehude, W.A. Mozart). Then they prepared premieres of works by contemporary Belarusian composers as S.Kortes, V.Kopytko, A. Bondarenko, O.Hodosko, etc. The State Chamber Choir of the Republic of Belarus has many tours. Hundreds of successful concerts in some cities of Belarus, performances in the best concert halls in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Kiev, Sochi are realized by the choir. The Choir is a participant in the international music and choral festivals in Poland (" Days of church music in Haynowka ", 2006, Grand Prix), in Norway (1991 - 1995.), Slovakia (1995), Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Estonia (XV International Festival Orthodox sacred music «Credo», Tallinn, 2008.), Lithuania (International Festival of Russian sacred music, Vilnius (1999 – 2009), First International St. Jacob Festival of Sacred Music, Vilnius, (2011), Russia (IX International Moscow Easter Festival. Artistic director - Valery Gergiev, Moscow, 2010), in Bulgaria (VIII International Festival of Orthodox Music "Holy Mother of God - It is truly Meet", Pomorie city, 2011).
Foreign critics appreciated the skill of the Belarusian musicians: « The Chamber Choir of the Republic of Belarus was one of the most spectacular events of the International Festival in Stord!» - « Haugesunds Avis », Norway:" ... A graduator of the Belarusian State Conservatory Honored artist of the Republic of Belarus Natalia Mikhailova has conducted the Chamber Choir since 2000. Broad erudition, high level of artistic culture, devotion creativity allow to determine N. Mikhailova as one of the brightest and the most important figures in modern music of Belarus. High professional excellence, outstanding vocal talent and teaching talent can be not only a good conductor and performer, but also educate vocal skill and artistry choir singers. It gives an opportunity to expand the repertoire of Chamber Music genre boundaries and participate in operas "The Lottery" of S.Moniushko, "Cio-Cio-San," Puccini and in a dramatic play "Wait, the sun!". In February 2008, the President of Belarus presented to Natalia Mikhailova the Medal of F. Skarina for her professional excellence.
A successful project of the choir as the concert "Negro spirituals and jazz" with the conductor and the soloist (baritone) Professor I.Spaulding (USA) and the jazz band "Apple Tea" was well-received by the public at the Big Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society. With this program the collective took part in the XVI International Festival of Musical Art "Prokofiev Spring" (Donetsk, Ukraine). And also programs as "Four Seasons" to the 270th anniversary of the death of Antonio Vivaldi and Bach's Mass in B Minor with the "Chamber soloists Minsk" by Dmitry Zubov conducting (St. Petersburg), Brahms' Songs of Love, with soloist Andrew Naidenov (tenor-altino, Bulgaria) and with piano duet Natalia Kotova-Valery Borovikov (the program of the Polish and Belarusian music «Sounds of Slavonic soul»).
For the first time in Belarus on 11th of September 2012 the Chamber Choir performed "New York Mass" by E.Podgayts with the State Chamber Orchestra by conducting of Evgeny Bushkov.
The new meeting with a wonderful musical choir is ahead. Their way marked by constant improvement, long searching and new revelations!
