Our most fresh big art-project is REQUIEM No. 2 in D Minor of Luigi CHERUBINI for Male Choir and orchestra (1836), prepared and performed in April 2016 in The National Philharmonic of Ukraine together with the men's group of the P. Mayboroda Academic Choir of the Ukrainian Radio and The Symphony Orchestra of the Ukrainian Radio.

The Choir is truly representative of the force with a... moreThe Avon and Somerset Constabulary Male Voice Choir was formed in 1974 following the amalgamation of the Bath and Somerset, Bristol and the South Gloucester part of the Gloucestershire Constabulary.
The Choir is truly representative of the force with a membership consisting almost entirely of serving and retired police officers, serving and retired members of the support staff and the special constabulary. We want to maintain the tradition of choral singing in a pleasant social environment and we do so under the professional leadership and tuition of our musical director Alison Howell, accompanist Julie Payne and deputy accompanist Gemma Leach.
We also want to share that musical tradition with the community, raise funds for local organisations and to act as ambassadors for the force. Away from the formal concerts however there is nothing the members like better than to sing and impromptu performances have taken place on cross channel ferries, in motorway services and in the odd pub or two.
