We won our first Regional competition and are preparing to compete at International contest in October. We really enjoying competing and entertaining with our bi-annual shows and occasional singouts in and around the Detroit area. Come have fun singing with us at our Tuesday night rehearsals! MGC travelled widely in Europe and had a high standard. In 2003, we changed our name to manx Voices. We love singing to community groups, in church services and concerts. We compete in our local music festivals and have sung on stage with Blake. We are a very democratic, mutually supportive group of women ranging in age from 10 to 70!

Currently in residence at the Church of St. Ignatius of Antioch on manhattan's Upper West Side, the Chorus performs an eclectic range of music, from a cappella compositions to works for chorus and orchestra, from countries around the world. Our diverse repertoire spans the 14th to the 21st centuries, including recent performances of the Brahms Requiem, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Bach's Magnificat and Christmas Oratorio, as well as new commissions by Kristin Kuster, Elliot Levine, and Jonathan David. Phillip Cheah joined the Chorus as its Music Director in 2010.  less
