After an interruption for Covid, the Isle of Man Festival of Choirs is once again taking place between 13th and 15th October 2023.
The festival is held over two days following a welcome evening in our Valla Marina Concert Hall where our visiting choirs are asked to perfrom their party piece as a warmup to the main competition the following day
There 4 classes, Male Voice, Ladies Voice, Mixed Voice and an Open class who all compete on the Saturday afternoon with the winners receiving £500 and the runners up £200.
The winners of each class will compete in the final on Sunday afternoon for the title of Choir of the Festival and £1,500.
We also run a strand alone ensemble competition on the Sunday prior to the final for those who want another opportunity to sing.
