All members of Newquay Male Voice Choir, they are a rehearsed, a cappella, male Chorus with a repertoire consisting of over 100 songs including Shanties, Cornish folk, 1960s classics, seasonal & sacred music. Their 4-part harmony and infectious humour has brought them popularity as their repertoire and reputation have grown. Entertaining for pleasure, they raise thousands of pounds for voluntary, charity & community groups. £1200 profit from donations and their first CD was donated to “The Cove” Cancer Centre and further donations have been made to RNLI and Cornwall Blood Bikes (who have received more than £3400 as their current charity). Live broadcasts on local radio and a recording by ‘Spotlight’ for BBC Television followed. At the beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus society and subsequently performed in public. However since 1973, it participated in various National choir competitions and repeatedly won the first prizes. This led PSM-ITB to become one of the most established choirs in Indonesia. In several occasions, the choir has been given the chance to perform in events attended by the President of Indonesia. It regularly performs in concerts, occasionally collaborated with other choirs and orchestras. In 1968 PSM-ITB organized the 1st ITB Choir Festival (FPS-ITB). Since then the festival is held biannually and becomes the largest National choir event in term of categories (from children to adult and folklore catagories) and participants. It has contributed to the history of choral development in Indonesia; most of Indonesian choirs ...    less

An artist who stops creating ceases to be an artist. Academic Choir of Gdańsk University of Technology, the oldest artistic student organization at the Gdańsk University of Technology, despite current situation, has not ceased its activity. We organise ourselves, work and create. This is the first "product" of our virtual work. We did it for yourselves to give you a little respite, joy, smile, hope and faith in a better future. Thanks to the fact that we have a share in culture - as creators and recipients - it is easier to live, it is easier to face everyday challenges. Music has great power. Music reaches our senses. We become better people thanks to music. -- Conductor, Mariusz Mróz The accompaniment to the song was played on a digital piano by Ewa Mróz, while the part of the oboe was performed by Karolina Kacprzycka.  less

After what was thought to be the group's last concert, a push from student fans and current members led the group to seek registration as a bonafide student organization. Pittch Please now provides fraternal solidarity for its members, sentimental commemorations for its alumni, and musical excellence for the Pittsburgh community.
