We sing in the a cappella style from a diverse repertoire of easily accessible music. We provide learning tracks for all our songs so you don’t need to able to read music to sing with Voice Weavers. Voice Weavers has open rehearsals on Thursday nights from 6:30pm QLD time at Tweed Heads Civic and Cultural Centre, cnr Wharf and Brett Sts Tweed Heads. Why not visit and have a sing with us or just listen to the choir work its magic? When founding member Rick Rosen left California in mid-2003 to move back to Bucks County, the original group of west coast singers went on hiatus. In its second life, and with the blessings of the founding Californians, Cordus Mundi was reborn in early 2005 in Bucks County. Now with fifteen voices, the newest incarnation of Cordus Mundi has the flexibility and versatility to expand the group’s musical exploration into new areas - the repertoire is varied and eclectic, and the group includes two composers and several arrangers. Cordus Mundi draws its repertoire from a wide range of composers and styles, from Dunstable to Duruflé, from Byrd to Bernstein, from Palestrina to Paranjoti, from Brahms to the Beatles, and from Jacob Handl to Edie Hill. The choir forms p...  moreAbout the Choir The University of Pretoria Youth Choir is a multi-cultural choir consisting of 90 members aged between 14 and 19 years and representing 33 Secondary Schools in the greater Tshwane area. They are all amateur singers. The choir forms part of the multi-choir model of the University of Pretoria, the others being the UP Jacaranda Children’s Choir, UP Camerata.

We have regular concert and performed at Windsor Castle, Windsor Theatre and Cliveden House. Our social life is very active and we have even gone to Turkey and Spain for singing holidays. All choir sessions aim to be uplifting and fun so everybody leaves with a smile on their face:)

We believe that music can positively impact and enrich lives. Our performances reflect this belief in their use of such seasonal themes as ‘freedom’ and ‘healing’ and ‘our mother earth;’ and in presentation of mostly new music in a way that is accessible. Our educational programs reflect this belief by training emerging professionals, planting seeds within young people for a lifetime of music involvement, and growing the skills of our own members. Our commitment to new choral music reflects this belief even beyond our substantial performance commitment through Project Encore™ and our Featured Composer Program. The heart of Dozan wa Awtar Music Establishment is singing and community building. Major activities revolve around three groups: Dozan wa Awtar Singers, Dozan and Atfal Dozan. Dozan wa Awtar Singers is an innovative large community choir ranging from 40-60 singers that performs three main concerts a year. Their repertoire includes a wide variety of genres including classical, musical theater, Arabic and world music . Dozan is a chamber choir that experiments with new Arabic arrangements and other world music and specializes in smaller tailored performances as well as festivals and competitions. Invitato in concerti e rassegne in tutta la Sicilia, annovera tra le realizzazioni più notevoli: due spettacoli con Giorgio Albertazzi, l’esecuzione dei Carmina Burana presso l’Università di Messina e di “The Armed Man” di K.Jenkins con l’Orchestra di Lecco, l’allestimento di musical, concerti in diverse città d’Italia tra cui Assisi, Mantova, Roma, Massa, Lecco. Particolare attenzione, negli ultimi anni, è stata data alla produzione di spettacoli originali, come DoppiArmonia:percorsi polifonici per doppio coro (Duomo di Monreale). Di rilievo anche la partecipazione a diverse edizioni di “Fede, Arte e Musica” presso il Duomo di Messina in collaborazione con Mons.
