Most of ex-semble's members come from the Süwestpfälzer Kinderchor. Starting in the children's choir with voice training and also personal formation, ex-semble works mainly with a-cappella literature of all epoches. From the beginning on, ex-semble has regularly given concerts in Germany as well as in foreign countries. ex-semble's current highlights: Concerts and recordings for radio and television with Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) and Südwestrundfunk (SWR) 1998: Production of the first a-cappella CD Leis' rauscht die Nacht 2000: Gold medal at the International Choir Competition Riva del Garda 2003: Special concerts during the Deutsches Chorfest in Berlin upon an invitation from the Deutscher Chorverband; for example at the Philharmonic Hall in Berlin 2004: Gold medal and category winner of the national choir festival in Lindenholzhausen; Chri...    less

We aim to establish a strong group of singers who rehearse and perform regularly, predominantly a cappella choral works but sometimes with instruments and including some solo/Small ensemble repertoire. We will be commissioning new works as well as exploring established repertoire and pieces by CoMA composers and associates. The group will reinforce as well as supplement the established CoMA Voices programme. We are a Small English speaking pop choir with a large variety of mostly European nationalities right in the center of Brussels. We rehearse every Tuesday from 19:00 til 21:00 in the Atelier Marcel Hastir, rue du Commerce 51, 1000 Brussels. We usually do two concerts per year and like to socialize as well. Please feel free to join us and give it a try.
