Grupo mexicano fundado en 1995 cuyo repertorio abarca desde el canto bizantino, canto gregoriano, polifonía, lieder, espirituales negros, música mexicana, boleros, música infantil, comedia musical y música contemporánea, entre otros. Sus últimas presentaciones fueron hechas en 2009.  

A vibrant 60 voice all-volunteer ensemble, known for its innovative programming, fine musicianship, and warm fellowship. Performances at Local venues, and major halls in metro NY-NJ area. Rehearsals on Tuesday evenings from 7 - 10 PM, September through May.

The group’s repertory is quite wide and eclectic and ranges from sacred and secular early music to contemporary works. Besides singing some of the most important Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces, by composers such as Victoria, Palestrina, Byrd, Monteverdi, Purcell, Handel and Bach, the group has also premiered several contemporary pieces and made first modern auditions of many Portuguese Renaissance and Baroque works. Christopher Bochmann, Ivan Moody, Bob Chilcott, Luis Tinoco, Eurico Carrapatoso and Vasco Mendonça are some of the composers who dedicated works to Grupo Vocal Olisipo. Grupo Vocal Olisipo attended several masterclasses led by some of the world leading Vocal ensembles, such as The King's Singers and the Hilliard Ensemble and was coached in the performance of Baroque music by Jill Feldman. Ha desarrollado, por tanto, una importante y extensa labor artística a lo largo de más de veinte años. Sus componentes, entre otras actividades de su amplio currículum musical, cuentan con la pertenencia al Coro Filarmónico de Europa, formación integrada por coralistas de todos los países de la Comunidad Europea.
