Celebrating world Music and arts Promoting multi-cultural awareness Supporting children's health and education projects in The Gambia, West Africa As well as hosting an annual World Musicand Arts Festival and the Choir we also run a weekly West African Drumming workshop. Both groups enjoy performing at our own and other local community events and festivals.

Ages include high school to adult, encouraging families to perform together in one group. We also feature an eclectic orchestra with instruments from a variety of cultures including but not limited to strings, brass, percussion, taiko, sitar, and more!  

We exist to educate, to perform and to make friends. We teach vocal production, harmonization and Musicianship to our members, in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie.

The Barberettes are always looking for new members and would love to welcome you to visit us in rehearsal. If you are free on Wednesday evenings, simply come along at 7:45pm, see what we're all about and chat to members in the break.
