    The Gospel Rising Music Festival is Ireland's biggest social, fun and energetic gospel music and choral festival. Much of the programme consists of peer-lead workshops and performances showcasing Ireland’s many gospel choirs and gospel music styles.

    There's no competition – instead, it's a weekend for getting together, sharing, learning and of course, plenty of singing! Whether you're in a gospel choir or just enjoy singing in the car, we think there's something in this festival for you!

     

    Now in its tenth year, the 2019 Gospel Rising Music Festival is heading for the “Big Smoke”, right in Dublin's city centre! Be sure to check out the full list of workshops right here before booking your ticket.

     

    Along with lots of music workshops, there are also gospel choir music concerts around the Dublin 1 area to give you a chance to sample the many different music styles that the attending gospel choirs love to sing, try to make some time to check them out:

     

    GOSPEL RISING FESTIVAL GIG @ Gardiner St Church 8pm Sat 18th May - Visiting gospel choirs hit the stage to showcase their style of Gospel Music!  Tickets €15/€12 (available from www.gospelrising.com)

     

    GOSPEL RISING FESTIVAL PARK @ Mountjoy Sq  1pm-5pm Sun 19th May – An afternoon of festival fun in Mountjoy Sq Park on Gardiner St, Dublin 1 – Gospel Rising Festival Stage, Gospel Music Workshops & Family entertainment all free thanks to the North East Inner City’s DCC office
