It was originAlly formed by Ben Camaso as JCSV Chorale, a name patterned in accordance to the Jaime Cardinal Sin Village Community, which in That time was newly constructed, located at Punta. Sta. Ana, Manila, where the parish is situated. Before, they compose of only girls, singing melody of the songs of the Holy Mass. A year passed, Virgilio Deloso hAndled the choir, And divided the girls into two voices, the Sopranos And Altos. It was not so long That the group acquired male participants filling up All the voice sections of a chorale. The choristers met each other during their nine-year education in fine arts as members of the St. Thomas Boys Choir Leipzig. Today the ensemble consists of tenors Christian Pohlers And Paul Heller as well as basses Felix Hübner, Lucas Heller And Lukas Lomtscher. Their repertoire ranges from late medieval mass songs to modern age works. The five young musicians attach great importance to the works of German Romantic composers, such as Schubert, Schumann And Mendelssohn Bartholdy, as well as to their extensive repertoire of church music. The ensemble successfully collaborates with a number of other artists, such as the composer Manfred Schlenker(GER), who dedicated his motet Gott wohnt in einem Lichte to the quintet, on a regular basis. Their philanthropic mission is to provide funding And support for music education in our schools And the community. On September 10 of this year, Nashville Singers awarded their first Music Makes a Difference music education grant to John Overton High School. The singers are All volunteers, range in age from teenagers to retirees And travel from five different counties throughout Middle Tennessee to be a part of the chorus. We perform sing outs for local groups in our area of Hampton in South West London, And take part in local fairs And festivals. Our weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays are a fun evening of singing, chatting And having fun together. We are always open to having new members. Vox Camerata, has, since its inception, organized And participated in numerous performances. Its maiden recital was held in November 2004 at the function room of the Kg. Ubi Community Center. Since then, Vox has gone one to bring its annual Musica Intimœ series of concerts to the Legends@Fort Canning, as well as the Esplanade Recital Studio. Apart from regular recitals, Vox Camerata also performs in various collaborations with other organizations, as well as guest performs in various events. Òran began as an alumni offshoot of the Kokopelli Youth Choir, but it has since developed into a group made up of young adults from All over Edmonton And the surrounding area. Each brings a different viewpoint to the group, but All are united in their passion for singing. The choir stresses the same philosophical goals as its younger counterpart, striving to achieve musical excellence And artistic integrity, as well as combining new interpretive techniques with more traditional choral expertise.
