The Choir Collegium Cantorum is energy and professionalism and intensive, systematic artistic work, which enables continuous improvement of skills and preparing a comprehensive and highly diversified repertoire. The singers of the Choir easily cope with different styles of music like classical music, opera music, a musical or popular music, as well as in contemporary compositions. The team appears on stage in full ensemble cast, in smaller ensembles and with singers performing solo, all presenting their vocal artistry. As a result, each concert of the Choir Collegium Cantorum is a unique event and a true celebration of choral music. The Choir was awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Order of Honour "Distinguished for Polish culture."

The Choir's mission is to nurture Bulgarian talent and instill a love for choral art among young individuals aged 16 to 35. It honors Bulgaria's choral traditions while occasionally embracing contemporary trends in choral performance, employing techniques like body percussion and mise-en-scène to enhance their vocal craft.
Founded as Pastoral - female Chamber Choir in 1987, nowadays the ensemble carries the name of its originator Irina Stiglich.
Тhe Choir's repertoire encompasses (or includes) works by both Bulgarian and international composers, spanning eras from the Renaissance to modern times.
They've embarked on concert tours across the country and abroad participating in international choral festivals and competitions.

The Choir has performed in National and International level stages (2012 Rome) and hosting many choral events in negombo including the biggest carol service in Negombo since 2007.(Maris Carols). It is trained by Mr. Francis De Almeida (Choral Director) since 2004. This Choir has influences some youth Choirs including Speranza , etc.... and also the Past Pupils Choir (The Old Maris Choir). The Choir is still hosting many Choral Events in Negombo.

The Choir is conducted by Paul Robinson and rehearses every Wednesday at the Gillingham Golf Club at 8pm. The Choir is currently looking for new members; the ability to read music is not essential, however, it is helpful and can be very useful. The Choir welcomes anyone who has a passion for singing. Like most traditional male voice Choirs we learn all of our pieces from memory and do not use copies. The Choir has a wide-ranging repertoire from West End showstoppers to opera, religious and traditional choral music. The Choir has gained a reputation for doing many concerts for charity and have raised a lot of money over the years for a number of different causes. The Choir has performed twice at the Royal Albert Hall with over one hundred Choirs in the Festival of Brass and Voices for cancer research UK. The Choir has made several tours both at home and abroad and has raised thousands of pounds for charity totaling nearly £3000 in the past year alone less
