Rehearsing at Akcan Akademi under conductor Özgen Öz, the Choir is an active member of Koro Kültürü Derneği (the Choral Culture Association). Since its founding, FeminAnka has been invited to numerous festivals and has been honoured with several awards. Having shared the stage with Türkiye’s leading Choirs, the Choir continues to strengthen the place of the female voice in polyphonic music — with a repertoire spanning polyphonic arrangements of folk songs, contemporary works, sacred music and pop. We keep working with the same enthusiasm as on day one, driven by the wish to resonate alongside musicians devoted to polyphonic music in different countries, cities and concert halls.  less

All of the other songs sound amazing and this one is covered up and sounds like a lower video quality. South Salem High School's Symphonic Choir preforming at the Oregon 6A Choir championships. The fabulous amazing spectacular Carol Stenson is their long standing director. South Salem took FIRST PLACE at Oregon's State Competition. This was their second song of four. This whole competition took place at George Fox University in Newburg Oregon. The South Salem Saxons also took first at their Districts festival in Salem/Keizer Oregon. First Place : South Salem High School 'Saxons" Tied Second Place (alphabetical order) : Canby High School 'Cougars' and Sprague High School 'Olympians' Fourth Place : West Salem High School 'Titans' Fifth Place : Saint Mary's Academy  less
