This Children's chorus quickly became one of the most dynamic choruses in the city. The Kinderchor, which means "Children's chorus" and the Jugendchor, which means "youth chorus", attribute their success to the dedication to the children. Membership is open to all children regardless of nationality, recognizing the shared German heritage so prevalent to Central Ohio. While our focus remains the children and the Children's choral music, gatherings and trips are planned to include the entire family. Performed by the Lyric Choir and Concert Choir ensembles of the Girl Choir of South Florida (Artistic Director: Wallis Peterson) and the Concert Choir and Second Generation Singers ensembles of the Florida Singing Sons (Artistic Director: Brett Karlin). This performance was the closing song for the inaugural Choral Exchange between the Girl Choir and the Singing Sons. Choristers from both organizations spent an afternoon making music together, performing for and learning from each other, culminating in a performance for family, friends, and fans of both organizations.  less
