Our collective history began in 1936 when Vladislav Sokolov (who was a a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory) created a Children's choir, which is almost 70 years was a model of Russian choral art throughout the Soviet Union and in many foreign countries ...  moreOur collective history began in 1936 when Vladislav Sokolov (who was a a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory) created a Children's choir, which is almost 70 years was a model of Russian choral art throughout the Soviet Union and in many foreign countries . 2008 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Professor Sokolov, in the anniversary concert attended choir, consisting of pupils of Children's choir. After the speech the former pupils of Children's choir - people of different professions and ages , realized that they all share a love of music and choral singing , decided not to leave, and formed a new team . Our first CD-drive, consisting of 19 works of Russian and foreign classics, Russian folk songs, songs by modern composers, was recorded in 2013. Our choir took part in competitions and festivals in Russia, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Ireland, Belgium where repeatedly became the winner.  less

Within the choir there are acting two ensembles: Children’s choir «Brevis» (vocalists from 13 to 18 years of age) and a Vocal ensemble «Brevis» (girls choir - vocalist from 18 to 30 years of age). All of the vocalists started their «internship in singing» with well-known Children’s choir of Osijek, i.e. «Osječki zumbići» (Tiny mosquitoes of Osijek). Up-to-now, the choir had a series of successful performances throughout the territory of Croatia - in Osijek, Zagreb, Split, Varaždin, Šibenik and also abroad - in Orašje (Bosnia & Herzegovina), Budapest, Pecs (Hungary), Athens (Greece), Salzburg, Graz, Klagenfurt, Villach, Wienna (Austria), Pforzheim, Munich, Düseldorf, Speyer, Sindelfingen, Mosbach (Germany), Helsingborg (Sweden),Xiamen (China), USA (New York), Canada, (Montreal, Toronto), Bulgaria (Varna), Poland (Poznan). the repertoire of the choir contains Croatian and world works of choir music composers, from baroque masters ...    less

Truly, how excellent the loving-kindness of the Lord is. And we as His Children shall be abundantly satisfied with the fullness of His house. Amen
