The 54-voice ensemble has performed throughout the world in concert performances and Choral festivals to great acclaim. They are widely recognized for presenting and preserving great works of Choral literature from a wide range of traditions from around the world that express the region’s diversity. The group is equally committed to innovative and dramatic presentations, as well as promoting the Choral art through the premieres of new works by Stephen Schwartz, Richard Burchard, Eric William Barnum, and Joshua Shank, to name a few.

The choir has been a finalist in both the CBC Choral competition for amateur choirs and the International Choral Kathaumixw in Powell River, British Columbia, and participated in the non-competitive Festival 500 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. It has also been the guest choir at Saskatchewan Sings, and sang at the installation of Lynda Haverstock (a former member) as Lieutenant-Governor of Saskatchewan. In 2010, the choir performed at Podium, the biennial conference of the Association of Canadian Choral Communities, held in Saskatoon.
The choir’s repertoire has been rich in variety since its establishment, and Canadian music has always been an important component of its programming. Perhaps best known for its annual Remembrance Day concert, the choir’s schedule is generally rounded out by a seasonal concert in December or January and on... less

Guided by the works of ages past and inspired by the composers of today, Voce’s unique sound has been acclaimed as “exemplifying Choral performance at its finest” as expressed by world-renowned composer Morten Lauridsen. Noted for its “tender warmth, exquisite nuance and enduring spirit” by the American Record Guide, and described as “heartbreakingly beautiful” by Stereophile Magazine, each Voce concert is an experience of sound - a journey of harmony. less

At the beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus Society and subsequently performed in public. However since 1973, it participated in various national choir competitions and repeatedly won the first prizes. This led PSM-ITB to become one of the most established choirs in Indonesia. In several occasions, the choir has been given the chance to perform in events attended by the President of Indonesia. It regularly performs in concerts, occasionally collaborated with other choirs and orchestras.
In 1968 PSM-ITB organized the 1st ITB Choir Festival (FPS-ITB). Since then the festival is held biannually and becomes the largest national choir event in term of categories (from children to adult and folklore catagories) and participants. It has contributed to the history of Choral development in Indonesia; most of Indonesian choirs ... less
