We accomplish our mission by combining the power of women's experience with musical expression in the following ways: 1) each season we commission one New piece for women's voices from a female composer; 2) each season, we research, uncover and perform a work for women's voices by a female composer who has been overlooked in music history; 3) we provide an annual scholarship to one girl to sing with the Phoenix Girl's Chorus and 4) each season, we perform two annual concerts and a variety of local performances in our communities and schools.  less

Joshua's music is beloved by audiences across MN and the upper-Midwest. His music fuses many styles and techniques; Ancient chant, Medieval organum, Russian orthodox liturgy, and the shimmering harmonies of modern choral music, to name a few. Audience members often comment that Josh's music is their favorite part of a From Age to Age concert, or they will ask Josh why we didn't perform another known favorite of theirs that Josh has written. Tijdens de wekelijkse repetities wordt er tegelijkertijd gewerkt aan een profaan repertoire waarmee het koor tijdens diverse optredens verrassend uitpakt. Ondermeer ook op Middelburg vol-koren edities 2010 en 2011 en 2012 en Aarschot Volkoren 2011. Kijk en geniet van de zachte mix van traditie, nostalgie en ritme met hier en daar een knipoog!  less
