We accomplish our mission by combining The power of women's experience with musical expression in The following ways: 1) each season we commission one new piece for women's voices from a female composer; 2) each season, we research, uncover and perform a work for women's voices by a female composer who has Been overlooked in music history; 3) we provide an annual scholarship to one girl to sing with The Phoenix Girl's Chorus and 4) each season, we perform two annual concerts and a variety of local performances in our communities and schools.  less

These singers have already demonstrated Their enthusiasm for exploring various genres and styles, and Their performances are infused with infectious joy and youthful enthusiasm. They act as ambassadors for The Community School of Music and Arts to reach The broader community through performance and share Their love of music.

We are an auditioned chamBer choir of 30-40 memBers who love sharing The joy of choral singing with each oTher and our community. Our regular season consists of at least 4 concerts featuring a variety of musical genres and styles. Because we seek to create meaningful musical experiences, we value interaction and education in our performances. Our audience memBers often tell us how much They love learning about The music from our director’s comments, which help Them more fully enter into The music and enjoy it.  less
