    Too many thoughts? Too distracted? Can’t sit still? You’re not alone. This is the “monkey mind” – something we all experience. But here’s the good news: you don’t need a silent mind to start meditating.

    Mantra meditation offers a grounding, accessible way to find calm and clarity.
    Through the repetition of sound, mantras can help settle the mind, relax the body, and reconnect you to a sense of stillness. It’s not about getting it perfect. It’s about showing up, breathing, and coming back to the sound.

    At HeartSong, our mantra and meditation gatherings offer a warm, supportive space to explore this powerful practice.

    What is Mantra Meditation?

    Mantra meditation is a form of vocal meditation using simple, repeated sounds or phrases. These mantras can help:

    • Settle mental chatter

    • Relax the nervous system

    • Cultivate focus, calm, and presence

    You can simply listen, breathe, and join in with your voice when you feel ready - there’s no pressure at all. You don’t need to be a “singer” or an experienced meditator - all are welcome. 

     

     
    What to Expect in a Session

    Each session includes:

    • Gentle, guided meditation to help you feel calm and grounded

    • Peaceful mantras and heart-opening chants from around the world

    • Breath and sound practices that support emotional and physical well-being

    • A warm, inclusive atmosphere with no judgment and no pressure

    We’re supported by live music throughout, with Ema on harmonium and Peter on guitar, creating a soothing and uplifting soundscape.

     

     
    Weekly Group Sessions

    Every Wednesday 10:30 – 11:30
    Followed by tea and cake – stay and chat if you like.
    Location: HeartSong Studio, 50140 Mortain

    €10 per session 

    This is a friendly, drop-in style group. Newcomers are always welcome, and no previous experience is needed — just an open heart and a curious mind.
