These are some highlights of early spring 2015 rehearsals for the Fortis Boy Choir. These were taped in St. Agnes Church, Scottsbluff, Nebraska, USA.

Domenico Savio" was born in 1999 with the desire to build through music, experience of collaboration and sharing. Over the years the interest in polyphony, the study of the repertoire and the vocal approach has grown. The group has joined the A.R.S. cori (Regional Association of Choirs of Sicily) and consequently to FENIARCO (National Association of choirs) with the involvement in all the regional and national demonstrations promoted by the aforementioned organism: exhibitions, concerts and gatherings for choirs. Singers in this ensemble demonstrate a high level of commitment to choral singing and to sharing this art with audiences at home and around the world. The Chamber Choir forms the core of Cantilon’s touring and recording program and participates in many exciting and unique activities throughout the year. The Chamber Choir performs locally in concert at least four times per season, and competes in music festivals at local, provincial and national levels. The Chamber Choir generally follows a three-year touring cycle: a regional tour in year one, national tour in year two, and an international tour every third year. In addition to its regular concert series, the Chamber Choir is often invited to perform with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Pro Coro Canada, Edmonton Opera and the Richard Eaton Singers.  less

The essence of the Victoria Scholars’ music is an emphasis on the clarity and balance of sound so characteristic of Renaissance music. Their repertoire encompasses medieval plainchant, works from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras, contemporary and newly commissioned works.
