Comprised of professionally trained musicians, Innismara is dedicated to the performance of the intimate and hidden treasures of the vocal ensemble repertoire. Well-known for specializing in sacred and secular music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, Innismara also enjoys experimenting with contemporary, pop, jazz and spiritual arrangements as well as exploring the rich folk music of Newfoundland and Labrador.  onclick="$(this).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less

Dress rehearsal recording.

Heartwood sings original arrangements of Songs whose murky origins stretch back centuries and centuries, Songs our grannies taught us and modern classics from the thriving contemporary folk scene.

According to bookies, it would be in my best interest to place my loonies on the Venus symbol in favour of Prince William and Princess Catherine giving birth to the future Queen of England. I am not a royalist nor even very interested...

You do need some musical ability, but it's not essential to read music. Rehearsals are in Wembdon, near Bridgwater, on a Tuesday evening.
