Although the choir originated and is based in Preston, Lancashire, members come from all over the North West. Individual choir members are involved in a wide range of local community projects and often call upon the whole choir to help drive fundraising events across the region. One Voice Community choir celebrates diversity and continually sources new material from its multi-cultural roots. The inspired leadership of Musical Director Tyndale Thomas MBE, combined with 14 years of performance experience has produced a stunning sound and versatile choral ensemble. We were thrilled to be Finalists in the 2013 BBC Songs of Praise Gospel choir of the Year!  less

Many of these performances were under the batons of the choir's late Presidents Richard Hickox and Sir Charles Mackerras, and included concerts at the BBC Proms, broadcasts on BBC radio 3, BBC 4, and studio CD reco...    less
