The event had a picnic character and took place on June 16 in the evening in the courtyard with fountains in front of the Main Building of the Gdańsk University of Technology. The program includes works by Georg Friedrich Handel performed by the Baroque orchestra and academic Choirs from Gdańsk and Kraków, as well as a fireworks show. The concert repertoire includes pieces by George Frideric Handel, such as the coronation anthem "Zadok the Priest" and "My Heart is Inditing", "Water Music" and "Music for the Royal Fireworks" were performed. The music scene was set on the stairs in front of the Main Building. The musical side of the evening was made more attractive by the fireworks show, which accompanied the performance of the last part of "Music for the Royal Fireworks".  less

Formed in November 2005, the Choir has performed around England, Wales, parts of France and Germany. Members of the Choir also run a training Choir to train other Choirs to perform Gospel music. The small training Choir is able to travel anywhere. To da...  moreFormed in November 2005, the Choir has performed around England, Wales, parts of France and Germany. Members of the Choir also run a training Choir to train other Choirs to perform Gospel music. The small training Choir is able to travel anywhere. To date they have travelled to Cornwall, Devon, Derbyshire, Wales, France and Germany. The whole Choir is mixed, with approximately 50 singers and performs around 30 times a year. I had the honour of making the announcement on behalf of Archbishop Desmond and Mrs Leah Tutu, who have given me permission to develop the initiative around the world, in support of their own Justice, Peace and Reconciliation work. The Archbishop first heard Choir Invisible perform outside and inside the King's Hall, Stoke-on-Trent, on 11 July 2008, at a Civic Reception held in his honour. He was, quite simply, spellbound by the Choir and an immediate rapport was established. Upon his arrival at the King's Hall, the harmony of the Choir, singing a Swahili love song 'Malaika' (My Angel), caused him to stop and listen.
