Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the music closer to the people and to present the music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. The Oktet Suha has performed more than 1400 times in Austria and all over Europe, as well as in the USA, Australia, Ukraina, Argentina and Canada. They had lots of tv and radio appearances worldwide. Oktet Suha has released 12 CD ́s since and is the main organizer of the annual cross boarder vocal Festival Suha. Their highlights were the European Award for Folk and Art and the Silver award of the Slovenian Republik.  less
