Some of The works have been specially composed for HARMONIE Lindenholzhausen. At The same time The Choir dedicates itself to oratorioes usually performed togeTher with The female Choir “Dzintars” Riga / Latvia. Numerous Concert tours and participations in international festivals took The HARMONIE to Austria, The Czech Republic, Egypt, England, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Macedonia, Russia, USA and Wales. In Wales The Choir won first prize in The male Choir category at The International “Eisteddfod” Llangollen in 1995 and 2007(second prize in 2003). This Concert will invoke The rich and varied musical cultures of The Eastern Orthodox, Jewish, Islamic, and nature-centered traditions that coexist throughout The region. Kitka's program features traditional and contemporary Balkan, Slavic, and Caucasian (Georgian and Armenian) repertoire sung in more than twelve languages.
