For Singers 55+!! NO AUDITIONS!! Afternoon rehearsals!! Encore Creativity for Older Adults, the nation’s largest and fastest growing choral organization for singers 55+, is coming to NYC!
Our NYC locations are:
Encore Chorale opening Monday, March 19th, 1:00 to 2:30pm with rehearsals at Fifth Ave. Presbyterian Church,
7 W.55th. St
Encore ROCKS rock n’ roll chorus, opening Wednesday, March 21st, 1:00 to 2:30pm with rehearsals at New York Society for Ethical Culture, 2 W.64th St.
Rehearsals will end the week of May 21st with a free public performance.
Justin Jalea will conduct. Singers will learn vocal technique weekly. Sight-reading is not essential and, of course, no auditions. Rehearsal CDs will be provided. Singing with Encore offers excellent artistic, mental, physical and social benefits!

Encore currently has 15 Encore Chorales that perform traditional four-part choral repertoire and six Encore ROCKS rock n roll choruses singing three-part 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s music, serving over 1,100 singers 55+ in the DC area.
Our Encore singers perform in excellent venues, including the Kennedy Center.
Encore also has chorales across the country including Chicago and Denver.
Encore offers excellent summer choral institutes at Chautauqua Institution and Washington College in Chestertown, MD. Encore Chorale and Encore ROCKS will be doing a concert tour of Montreal and Quebec May,2018.
