The group performs repertoire that expresses a uniquely feminine spirit, especially works that promote the best interests of women in society. Vox Grata sings concert programs that directly benefit the needs of women in the Nashville Community. The singers also enjoy the opportunity to mentor exceptional high school and College-aged women who participate in the Choir as part of its choral scholar program.  less

It was the official Choir of the Masaryk University in Brno between 1999 and 2003. Since then it has continued as a civic association. In 2003 Štěpán Policer took up the artistic leadership of Gaudeamus, since 2007 Dáša Karasová has been leading the Choir. The Choir has been undoubtedly contributing to the advancement of Brno musical culture by giving concerts and appearing at benefit events annually. Newly formed in 2022, the group is currently comprised of a mixed Choir, a men's Choir, and a women's Choir. The mixed Choir meets at the Manchester Rugby Club, and the men's and women's Choirs meet at the Wilmslow Rugby Club. The repertoire consists of a little bit of everything - madrigals, movies, musicals, spirituals, shanties, serious songs, silly songs - everything. All singers are welcome, and there is no audition required. We sing as a team, one step at a time.  less
