The Singers are directed by Dr Simon Lindley, Music Director since the choir's foundation in 1977. The plainchant verses are sung by soprano Sarah Kelly, and the solo quartet (positioned remotely from the main choir) comprises soprano Julie Kilburn, alto Lucy Appleyard, tenor Jonathan Morrish and bass Quentin Brown. This performance was recorded on 5th December 2010 in the Harvey Nichols Espresso Bar in Leeds' magnificent Victoria Quarter in the first of St Peter's Singers' now-traditional annual series of Sunday evening carol concerts there. The choir is directed by Dr Simon Lindley, its Music Director since the Singers' formation in June 1977.
