We offer real opportunities to make new friends and sing together and, by encouraging our members to help out in the running of the choir and choosing our repertoire, we aim to create a 'Tottenham choir' sound that truly and accurately reflects the diversity of the local community.

The Copper family have been singing in this distinctive, English southern harmony style for over 200 years. The family has lived there since at least 16th C. Song is also known as "Sorrows away". This version is based on an arrangement by The Poozies. This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all Songs are taught and learnt by ear. We think everyone can sing and complete beginners, shower singers and pros are all welcome. With no auditions and no requirements to read music it’s all about the enjoyment of singing. We sing for 3 terms a year and each term ends with a fantastic end of term charity gig, it’s great to be able to give back to the local community whilst enjoying ourselves so much! We sing everything from Queen and Aretha Franklin to Hozier and Florence and the Machine, and have members ranging in age from 20-70, there is really something for everyone! This is our choir's 10th year and we're always looking for new members, so if you fancy a sing please get in touch. We offer 1 free taster to each new member so you can try the choir out before deciding to join.
