All of them are former members of the “Dresdner Kreuzchor” (Choir of the Church of the Holy Cross Dresden) or the “Thomanerchor Leipzig” (St. Thomas Choir Leipzig), two of the most famous boy's choirs in Germany. The Singers have set themselves the target to present their listeners a wide musical spectrum. Their repertoire consists of vocal music from Renaissance and Baroque to Romanticism to the 20th and 21st century. Important elements are works of Jacobus Gallus, Michael Praetorius, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Francis Poulenc and Rudolf Mauersberger. In addition they also perform with popular music. Music of the “Comedian Harmonists”, “The Beatles”, Billy Joel or the German group “Wise Guys” are also an essential part of their repertoire. At their concerts they perform in varying constellations from four up to eight Singers. In 2011 the ensemble attended a master class with the King's Singers. Members receive specialised training in sight-singing, notation and theory, vocal technique, interpretation and repertoire and are guided individually through the Dublin Choral Foundation Training Scheme leading to bronze, silver and gold awards.

【wow! 合唱】音樂會 時間/ 2014年9月20日 地點/ 大東文化藝術中心 指揮/ 朱如鳳 鋼琴/ 楊郁雯 曲: Einojuhani Rautavaara 芬蘭當代知名作曲家勞塔瓦拉（Einojuhani Rautavaara， 1928-），節選四首二十世紀著名西班牙詩人羅卡（FederícoGarcía Lorca， 1898-1936）的詩作譜成，樂曲帶有神秘主義思維，以強烈的頑固節奏、尖銳的和聲和戲劇張力，刻畫羅卡一貫帶有悲劇色彩的詩詞，本曲亦是勞塔瓦拉最具代表性...  more【wow! 合唱】音樂會 時間/ 2014年9月20日 地點/ 大東文化藝術中心 指揮/ 朱如鳳 鋼琴/ 楊郁雯 曲: Einojuhani Rautavaara 芬蘭當代知名作曲家勞塔瓦拉（Einojuhani Rautavaara， 1928-），節選四首二十世紀著名西班牙詩人羅卡（FederícoGarcía Lorca， 1898-1936）的詩作譜成，樂曲帶有神秘主義思維，以強烈的頑固節奏、尖銳的和聲和戲劇張力，刻畫羅卡一貫帶有悲劇色彩的詩詞，本曲亦是勞塔瓦拉最具代表性的作品，四個樂章各有千秋，一氣呵成： 1. 騎士之歌（Canción de jinete） 男低音演唱頑固低音貫穿全曲，象徵著騎士所騎的矮黑馬不停的往前走，而女聲扮演敘事者角色，並利用不諧和音程表現出詭譎緊張的氣氛。 2. 尖嘯（El Grito ） 作曲家以現代音樂的滑音技巧模擬奸嘯聲，營造神祕驚悚的畫面。 3. 月亮探出頭來（La lunaasoma） 樂章起始，以女聲的同音、二度轉換，製造音響張力，敘述故事場景，並使用滑音營造出無亙的空間感。接著，透過下三聲部平行和弦烘托出夜晚的色彩，女高音獨唱突破凝重的氣氛，最後回到一開始的同音二度轉換技法，相互呼應。 4. 馬拉加女孩（Malagueña） 男低音回溯第一樂章的頑固低音，形容死神急切的的腳步聲，上三聲部仍使用大量平行和弦闡述故事脈絡，歌詞重複之後，其他聲部陸續加入八分音符頑固音型，表現死神的逼近。 1.
