However, it also sings with instrumental accompaniment. The Choir has pieces from different ages, languages and styles in its repertoire. It gives both Turkey and world premieres of songs. It premiered the concerto Romeo and Juliet, composed by the conductor Agosyan last year. Carl is playing a panduri, a traditional instrument from eastern Georgia.

This is a work of medium difficulty, appropriate for high School, collegiate and community Choirs. Commissioned by Penn High School Choirs, Andrew Nemeth, Allison Secaur, Ethan Schopp, directors.

 Our repertoire consists mainly of folk, gospel, pop and freedom songs all sung in glorious 4 part harmony and mostly in a capella style. All Choir members have online access to MP3 recordings of their parts so they can practise anytime.

We love welcoming new people so it would be great to have you along. There is no audition and everyone is welcome to come and check us out for a night before they join.  less
