A fantastic and welcome addition to The British Choral tradition, Reverie is defined by its unique blend of voices and carefully crafted approach to interpretation. The ensemble currently consists of 40-50 auditioned singers. The University Chorale is The touring ensemble for The Choral department. The University Chorale is The touring ensemble for The Choral department. The ensemble performs a wide spectrum of The finest Choral literature. The group performs extensively throughout The Southwest and will be singing at several venues in Washington D.C. during December of 2013. The group primarily consists of vocal music majors, however, There are singers representing several oTher academic disciplines. The University Chorale has been under The direction of J. Steven Walker since 1984. Dr. Walker is The Director of Choral Activities and a Linscheid Distinguished Teaching Professor at East Central University. He has served on The music faculty at ECU since 1983.  less

At The beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus society and subs...  moreOn February 11th 1962, few ITB students established Paduan Suara Mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Bandung (PSM-ITB or ITB Student Choir) which was The first university-based Choir in Indonesia. At The beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus society and subsequently performed in public. However since 1973, it participated in various national Choir competitions and repeatedly won The first prizes. This led PSM-ITB to become one of The most established Choirs in Indonesia. In several occasions, The Choir has been given The chance to perform in events attended by The President of Indonesia. It regularly performs in Concerts, occasionally collaborated with oTher Choirs and orchestras. In 1968 PSM-ITB organized The 1st ITB Choir Festival (FPS-ITB). Since Then The festival is held biannually and becomes The largest national Choir event in term of categories (from children to adult and folklore catagories) and participants.
