Driven by the desire of thorough preparation of quality choral projects, the choir works under the leadership of Slovene and foreign guest conductors. the choir prepared their inaugural concert, entitled In the Beginning, in cooperation with young Finnish conductor Dani Juris the topic of creation coincided not only with the central composition of the concert, Copland’s In the Beginning, but also with the choir’s first public appearance and presentation of the concept of their work. I offered my services as a Singer and musician to come and provide music for the 5:30 mass and within a few short weeks I returned to the place I consider my spiritual home. On the 12th Dec 2008 the Jes Gospel Choir was birthed with 5 Singers and me & it was a wonderful experience and we received a very warm welcome. Within a Year the choir grew to over 15 members and some musicians. the wonderful thing about this choir is that it is a choir th...    less

Pleading for Words is a special architecture of music and the word that outwardly expresses contact between very different aesthetic criteria but glows with the same devout message: a personal spiritual testimony. the program concept is based on the attitude toward primary spirituality: from intimate thought to more outwardly expressed manifestations. Slovenian spiritual creativity can be summed up in threefold diversity: confessional, agnostic, and atheist. these works express categories of the incomprehensible, irrational, mystic, and metaphysical. Mysticism is connected with transcendence. This involves a personal testimony about spirituality and a direct reflection of th...    less
