The Choir is an integral part of the Sunday worship service. The soulful reckoning that they are singing for their Lord and Saviour is what drives the Choir in spite of the hectic schedules of its members. The Choir has a good mix of youth and experienced members ranging from an age of 14 years and above. Yeah, we don’t have an age limit!
The East Parade Malayalam Choir is recognized as one of the best church Choirs in the Garden city and has been invited to perform in various concerts organised by other churches, institutions and groups. We thank God Almighty for His abundant grace, blessings and guidance all through these years of our existence.

Since 2009, it has been gladding the ceremonies of parishes nearby, mainly thanks to new Musical equipment and stabler rehearsals and organisation. The most unique thing about this Choir is its style: apart from being always varied, it offers a joyous, rhythmical, alternative and new way of celebrating Mass, joining pop and rock with religious themes.

Named after Lady Margaret Beaufort who founded St John’s College, Cambridge, the Choir cultivated a powerful and expressive sound combined with a clear, committed delivery of text. The membership comprises singers from across the UK embarking upon the early stages of their careers. Amongst its seminal projects were performances of James MacMillan’s Seven Last Words From The Cross and Rachmaninov’s All-Night Vigil. It is also hugely passionate about investing in the future of choral Music and has regularly commissioned new works from young composers such as Piers Kennedy (April & Nunc Dimittis) and Owain Park (For The Fallen).
In 2018, The Beaufort Singers and Joseph Wicks founded the Boxgrove Choral Festival which gave the Choir its new home. After its enforced cancellation last year, 2021 saw the Festival’s return and its presentation online for the first time. less
